The Dreadlords on meeting decided to ‘ride out’ to show the world how to fear them again. For some reason they chose Shou Lung as the place to go.

None of the party bothered to check the recent history, and so it was with quite a surprise that they arrived to find the land deserted.. the crumbled remains of a great wall and city hinting towards the empire that was, and the land itself haunted by the souls long passed whispering warnings of the doom that befell them.

The Party didn’t stay long enough to know what happened.. what is known is that some great calamity occurred.. something that threatened to sap all magic from those who lingered too long.. for the land itself still carries the scars of a great plague.. of magic!
